We have developed this site as a resource for you to find whatever you may be seeking related to water conservation.

- If you are a citizen, business, or landscape professional looking for ways to be more water efficient, we hope you will find some helpful information here, or perhaps we can point you in the right direction.
- If you are a teacher, looking for educational materials, or a speaker for a public event, we can help provide you with great information.

The Georgia Water Wise Council is dedicated to the education and dissemination of water conservation and water quality information. If you are interested in joining or learning more about us, you can do that as well on this website.  I welcome your feedback and hope you continue to save water!

Fox McCarthy Award Call For Applications
The Georgia Water Wise Council is accepting applications for the Fox McCarthy Award until March 1, 2011. The Fox McCarthy Award annually recognizes an outstanding water conservation program in the state of Georgia. This year the award will recognize a public water provider's conservation program.

waterSmart is a program of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Environmental Protection Division in partnership with the University Georgia Cooperative Extension. waterSmart seeks to conserve water in Georgia by encouraging reductions in outdoor water use. It offers simple tips and tools for maintaining healthy landscapes while using less water.

Alliance for Water Efficiency

The Georgia Water Wise Council is now a Charter Sponsor of the Alliance for Water Efficiency.
The Alliance for Water Efficiency is a stakeholder-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the efficient and sustainable use of water. The Alliance serves as a North American advocate for water efficient products and programs, and provides information and assistance on water conservation efforts.
