Backflow Certified Testers List

This listing includes all testers certified through the Georgia program (administered by GAWP) as well as any ASSE, ABPA and TREEO certified testers that have submitted their information to GAWP. To be added to this list, contact Morgan Johnson (770) 618-8690 ext. 10 for details. Individuals who have valid ASSE, ABPA or TREEO certification can perform backflow testing even if they do not appear on this list.

H2Opportunity

The purpose of the H2Opportunity Program is to provide students in the state of Georgia with a renewed understanding of water issues within our state and highlight the benefits of a job in the water industry.

Georgia's Water History

A timeline illustrating key state wide activities that have influenced how water is managed throughout the State. We have drafted brief write-ups for the elements of the timeline as well as identified links to other sites where warranted.

CCR Resources

A major feature of the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments, consumer confidence reports (CCRs), provide information about source water, treatment and the results of required water quality monitoring at some 53,000 community water systems nationwide. CCRs must be issued by July 1 every year.

Water Loss Audit

On June 2, 2010 Governor Sonny Perdue signed the Georgia Water Stewardship Act (GWSA) of 2010 (SB 370/HB 1094).

This Act is a landmark, multifaceted approach to water conservation and requires specific action by water providers serving over 3,300 in population. Approximately 250 water providers are affected by this Act.

Water's Worth It

WATER'S WORTH IT is a new messaging campaign from the Water Environment Federation that aims to raise awareness about the value and importance of water, water-related issues, and the water profession. We encourage you to learn more about this exciting new effort and how you can help WEF be a voice for water.
